Currently, through FORWARD Tereza's designs are a surprising mix of thoroughly modern styling, practical preppies and downtown sophisticates. Her inspiration comes from past and present fashions that blend together for an expertly constructed and merchandised product. Her exceptional fabric and yarn knowledge, together with a graphics and trims development, now help her be an outstanding leader in the industry.
Tereza saw as a gaping fashion void: the lack of stylish, urban designs for young, active people. Tereza poured her ideas into designs for industry giants such as Rocawear and helped the small line grow into a collection, which earned the company a booming $150 million in annual sales. Testament to her efforts are the success of clothing lines such as Retro Fox and Le Tigre Clothing, whose labels have become widely recognized and are being sold to major department stores, such as the Federated, J.C Penny and May Co. as well as specialty stores.
Colors are evident in her creation of an infamous take on a polo shirt that she infused with a vibrant yarn dyed color palette and exceptional fabrics to give her work a very distinctive and up to date polished look.
The designer knows exactly what to give her young audience: unusual separates, shirts, pants and jackets paired with softly constructed and draped tops with personal touches that evoke individuality. |
